LIfe's Challenges

Ok... I quit... Can I do that? Can I just say that if anything else that costs money or time happens my head will explode? In the last few weeks we have had our air conditioning unit go out... to the toon of 2100$, my slave pump on my camaro go out... to the toon of 45$, the kids started school and needed school clothes... afraid to admit how much that cost, lunch money... oh my goodness... dentist appts... can you say 7 cavities for the 8 yr old.... Anyway, we are now officially broke and have about 3 weeks until I have any money (other than Robert's paychecks) coming in. I know that the Lord is good... and I am impressed that we have actually had the money to take care of the things that have happened... but come on.... I am tired of this!

On a lighter note... We went to the drive-in last night and saw Barnyard: The Original Party Animals and The Ant Bully. Ant Bully was ok... if I had boys they probably would've loved it... but my girls slept through it. Barnyard, on the other hand, was hilarious. My hubby was concerned that the bulls and cows were all pictured with utters... Bulls do not have utters, but other than that it was great! At one point a cow is in labor and the pig says things like "Wow... I bet that hurts" and "What if it gets stuck?"... you could hear the laughter from the cars around us... it made me laugh.... As I type this I am struck with the idea that it might not have been that funny... it really could've been that fact that it was midnight and I was tired! Anyway, go see for yourself and let me know!

Sistah, I am WITH ya on the broke-ness. Can't imagine how the Lord will do "loaves and fishes" with what we have left for the rest of the month, but I know He will. Hang in there, come visit me on the porch at the Poor House!

And Barnyard -- maybe I should have seen it at midnight. I was not amused. The Jersey Cows with mohawks and tattoos cracked me up -- other than that, pretty weak, I thought. And, it disturbed me greatly to have Sam Elliot's voice on a cow with gimongomous udders waggling around.

I really hate money. Stresses me out more than anything in the world. It sounds like you guys were pretty well prepared, considering. Good for you!
